Great video quality and easy to learn. I haven’t even used a cell phone in 5 years, but I learned this camera in a week.
Don’t go through affirm
This camera is absolutely beautiful and came in perfect condition, to start off. However, DO NOT GO THROUGH AFFIRM! I bought this camera through affirm as I wanted to save a bit of money for a big trip. I was approved instantly. Then 12 hours later, Amazon decided to charge me $860 and would not help me. They tried blaming affirm, but I never gave Amazon permission to take almost $900 from my account. And don’t forget $860 plus the loan from affirm, basically 2 payments for the 1 camera I ordered. When I contacted affirm, they informed me that the merchant had canceled my loan, but Amazon told me they didn’t have the power to do that. I never got an answer, and Amazon never tried to help me resolve this issue. This is not on affirm but on Amazon for not reaching out to their customer and asking for approval to cancel a loan that was approved and take money out of my account.
Amazing quality even with stock lens
Frustrated by the washed-out look in OBS, I initially paired this up with a Camlink 4k for streaming. I realized that this camera requires a lot of configuration both in any desktop software using it, as well as in the camera’s deep-dive menu system. After you get everything dialed in, it is simply amazing. This is not a pick-up-and-go camera. This is a complex tool that requires a bit of configuration to get right. But once you do, it will blow you away. I did notice the rolling shutter problem, but I’m not using this for fast panning or action. The stock lens is impressive and can only get better as you customize with better Sony, Sigma, or other specialty lenses. I like that the bundled lens is 16-50mm so if you’re new to the APS-C format, you can easily figure out what your favorite focal lengths are and upgrade to better lenses in that range. Not that you’ll have to upgrade, the bundled lens can meet all your needs easily. The overall package is very light and small. USB-C power needs to provide at least 2A in order to keep the camera running a long time for a stream. Otherwise, the battery drains pretty quickly (around 2 hours max). I am very happy with this camera, get it if you’re thinking about it.

It doesn’t take long to learn the menu layout, which I find decent. Shoots AMAZING video for the price. Absolutely no complaints. I’m using the default lens, and it looks very professional. Good for photography — I’m purely an amateur photographer, but works great for my needs. Small and portable. Flip Screen is a major plus. Plug and play – plugging it into the computer or laptop to move files, stream, or charge is seamless. Loving that. Amazing value for money.
